The eurO-PTIR symposium brings together researchers from the field of vibrational spectroscopy to learn about the research and applications of multimodal O-PTIR, including simultaneous Raman and co-located Fluorescence microscopy across a broad range of research areas.
This interactive symposium will benefit anyone interested in advanced spectroscopy and multimodal imaging techniques and the new discoveries enabled by them. The program will include:

Keynote Speaker:
Prof Ji-Xin Cheng, Boston University
We are delighted to announce that Professor Ji-Xin Cheng, Professor of Photonics at Boston University, and a founder of photothermal infrared spectroscopy will be a keynote speaker, at this conference.
Talk: Vibrational Photothermal Imaging – Principle, Instrumentation, and Applications
Professor Cheng is universally regarded as one of the world’s foremost experts in the field of vibrational spectroscopic imaging. He is a co-inventor of the O-PTIR (Optical Photothermal Infrared) spectroscopy technique pioneered by Photothermal Spectroscopy Corp. He is also a co-inventor of the CARS (Coherent Anti-stokes Raman scattering) microscope which he invented together with Professor Sunny Xie of Harvard University.

Registration for the conference is free. Priority will be given to the presenter and poster submissions. In addition, we anticipate there will be plenty of space for those interested in the science supported by multi-modal O-PTIR and complementary spectroscopy/microscopy techniques.

Authors are encouraged to submit abstracts according to the themes listed below, though other themes will still be considered;

Poster presentations can be submitted for research topics that include general vibrational spectroscopy (IR, Raman, NIR, O-PTIR, SRS
